France

Provence: The south of France has been a hot spot for decades now and partly thanks to Peter Mayle’s book “A Year in Provence” (which is highly recommended!). Le sud of the country is rich in high-quality wines and quaint little villages.

Paris: Home to every artists’ dream of city lights, romance, and history of creatives such as Ernest Hemingway and Gertrude Stein what’s not to love about Paris? Paris is home to a number of ritzy streets where you can browse expensive apartments to invest in and eclectic home decor.

Cannes: Most well-known for its film festival which happens every year, Cannes is where the rich conglomerate to part themselves from their bags of money. You’ll be able to show off your wealth while mingling with the elite of the film world.

Monaco: One of the most expensive places to visit on this list, Monaco is home to boat harbors and expansive beaches. You can book a private villa, head out to some of the best restaurants in France (and therefore the world), and bask in the glamour of it all.

Bordeaux: With a wine list to rival Provence, this city is very much it’s own little part of French culture. During the day you can explore the countryside and enjoy some amazing farm-to-table cuisine. At night you can sip wine along the promenade under the city lights.

Spain

The Mediterranean Coastline: No matter where you go on the Mediterranean you’ll find fresh seafood, white-powdered beaches, and plenty of local activities such as scuba diving.

Palma: The largest of the Balearic Island chain, Palma is a great spot for anyone whose looking to get down with nature. Surfing is one of the hottest activities on the island, but there’s also intriguing history, too. Check out the Old Town to find your owner little part of paradise.

Ibiza: Perhaps the best part spot in the world, Ibiza is a prime destination for anyone looking to find an impressive rave scene. Every summer the island transforms into dozens of raves all being thrown by the best DJs the world has to offer. You never know who might drop by.

Barcelona: The city of Barcelona is famous for it’s architectural prowess and fresh food markets. You’ll need at least a few days here just to explore the city aimlessly.

Alicante: If you’re looking for a beach vacation, Alicante is ideal. It’s great for families who want to spend their days swimming, eating fresh seafood, and checking out small shops. The city is designed with tourists in mind, so you’ll have no problems navigating.

Italy

Tuscany: The Italian countryside is something magical to behold. Rolling hills, small villas, mouth-watering cuisine. Rent a vehicle for a few days and explore what Tuscany has to offer. You’ll never be far from a bed and breakfast.

The Amalfi Coast: A hot destination for the mega-wealthy, here you’ll find grand architecture, five-star hotels, and the ocean at your feet. If you stay at the Grand Hotel Il Saraceno you’ll be able to live atop the cliffs with your own private beach and gorgeous view.

Bellagio: Home of the Michellin-starred restaurant Mistral, run by chef Ettore Bocchia, you’ll absolutely have to dine here. Just make sure that you make your reservation well in advance.

Milan: We’ve all heard of the Milan fashion show, but that’s not all this fashion icon has on offer. There’s thousands of shops to pique your interest including the 19th-century mall known as the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele ll.

Capri: Built with wealthy travelers in mind, you’ll find plenty of expensive resorts with amenities that never run dry. The island is comprised of ancient ruins, nature for enjoyable hikes and scenery, and more beaches than you can count.

UAE

Dubai: Home to the super-wealthy, Dubai is a microcosm in and of itself. Walk the streets and supercars will be the norm. This city is one of the most innovative in the world and has so much wealth that they are even working toward air-conditioning the sidewalks.

Al Mama Desert Resort: Who knew the desert could be so romantic? This secluded desert oasis has 42 villas hidden among the dunes. It’s nestled in the protected Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve for a welcomed touch of nature.

 USA (East Coast)

Blantyre, Massachusetts:  This country manor is surrounded by expansive plains and woodlands. The manor was built in 1902 in Tudor style. Inside you'll find a cozy spa and a massive wine cellar.

The Hamptons, New York: Known as the most expensive beach town on the East Coast, you’ll be able to bump shoulders with the celebrities who call the place home. Even though there is a high price tag, rumor has it that there are only a few properties which are for sale.

Virginia Beach, Virginia: The average cost of a home on Virginia Beach is nearly half a million dollars. The local community has responded by putting up ritzy seafood restaurants and boutique shops to explore and find pricey, but truly unique items.

Old Greenwich, Connecticut: What’s beautiful about this small part of Connecticut is the homey environment of a small town. It’s hard to find luxury communities like this in the US, but here it’s alive and well. If you come here, you have to visit the expensive shops.

New York City, New York: We’ve talked about a lot of small areas, but New York City still takes the cake. You can find whatever you’re looking for in NYC from high-class dining and balls to expensive accommodation with dozens of luxurious amenities.
